Gunnison Colorado - Boating

Blue Mesa Reservoir just west of Gunnison, with its secluded side canyons and wide range of facilities, is a popular destination for boaters.

Blue Mesa Reservoir Lake Size:  14 square miles
Blue Mesa Reservoir is Colorado's largest body of water, and is the largest Kokanee Salmon fishery in the United States.

Crawford Reservoir Lake Size:  400 acres
Crawford Reservoir on Colorado's west slope is a great place to enjoy peace and tranquility in the midst of one of Colorado's most scenic areas.

Crystal Reservoir
Crystal Reservoir is the most isolated of the three reservoirs in Curecanti National Recreation Area. Boating on hand carried craft and fishing for brown trout and kokanee salmon are great in this tranquil location.

Morrow Point Reservoir Lake Size:  1.3 square miles
Morrow Point Reservoir is a long, narrow lake that only allows hand-powered craft. The reward, however, is a tranquil fishing and boating experience.

Taylor Park Reservoir Lake Size:  3 square miles
Taylor Park Reservoir offers fishing in the lake itself or in the myriad of nearby streams, with great views of the Sawatch Mountains.
