Backpackers should set up camp away from the trail and avoid camping near the stream to prevent damage to wetlands areas. If a campfire is necessary, keep the fire small and make sure it is fully extinguished before leaving camp. All trash must be packed out.

 Directions to Trailhead

From Poncha Springs, travel west on Highway 50 for approximately 2 miles. Turn left on County Road 220 and travel west on this road for about 1.75 miles to the junction with CR 221. CR 221 travel southwest for approximately 2 miles to the trailhead. A small parking area is located on the right side of the road with the trailhead situated just past the parking area along Greens Creek.
