Grand Lake Colorado Travel Information

The Trail Ridge Road through Rocky Mountain National Park is a spectacular drive through some of the state's most striking country. Other nearby routes explore the national forest and the Colorado River headwaters.

The Colorado River Headwaters Scenic Byway follows the beginnings of this major western river. Beginning at the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, the byway and river head southwest past Grand Lake and Granby, before continuing east through Kremmling and State Bridge.
