Georgetown Colorado Travel Information

The terrain near Georgetown is criss-crossed with dozens of old mining roads and railroad grades, and hikers can stumble across plenty of old mining equipment and buildings.

Baker Gulch Trail		Intermediate	11 mile roundtrip	6 to 7 hours

	Trail crosses over the Grand Ditch. Spectacular views of the Kawuneeche Valley.

Baker Pass Trail		Easy	4 mile roundtrip	2 hours

	Alpine wetlands.

Bakerville Loveland Trail		Intermediate	9 mile roundtrip	4.5 to 5 hours

	The Bakerville/Loveland Trail is excellent for hiking, bicycling, and cross-country skiing.

Bowen Gulch Trail		Intermediate	16.2 mile roundtrip	8 to 10 hours

	Trail follows an old jeep road and is along a small stream.

	Elk graze in a newly developed meadow.

Silver Dollar Lake Trail		Intermediate	3 mile roundtrip	1.5 to 2 hours

	The trail leads to two lakes that are above treeline.

Watrous Gulch Trail		Difficult	4 mile roundtrip	2 to 2.5 hours

	Once above treeline, wildflowers surround the ground like a quilt on a king size bed.
