Indian Canyon Scenic Byway climbs out of the Price River Canyon along Willow Creek through the Ashley National Forest. The route reaches 9,100 feet and forests of aspen and Douglas fir. You'll likely see deer and maybe some elk. The trip is autumn is exceptionally beautiful.

If you like pictographs and lots and lots of natural color, this is a road to travel. This road travels a narrow, high-walled canyon and you'll want to stop off by the Jones Hold National Fish Hatchery to explore Jones Creek and Fremont Indian pictographs.

Although the name can be misleading, the 80-mile Nine Mile Canyon provides family-friendly entertainment for campers and day-trippers alike.

The Red Cloud/Dry Fork Scenic Backway is a 45 mile loop through the eastern Uinta Mountains. It winds through attractive forests of aspen and pine, pleasant open meadows and tumbling mountain streams. The return through Dry Fork Canyon provides nice canyon scenery.

The Sheep Creek Loop runs through the sheer, rugged canyon walls of Sheep Creek Canyon with dramatic views of the Uinta Fault. Spirit Lake Road is a spur road from the Sheep Creek Loop that leads through beautiful pine and aspen forests to pretty Spirit Lake high in the Uinta Mountains.
