Crystal Reservoir

Crystal Reservoir is the most isolated of the three reservoirs in Curecanti National Recreation Area. Boating here is limited to hand carried craft. The access trail for Crystal Reservoir is reached via the Mesa Creek Trail located near Cimarron. Boaters should be cautious as fluctuating water levels and releases from Morrow Point Dam can create navigational problems. Brown trout and kokanee salmon fishing is good in the reservoir, and the adjacent Blue Mesa and Morrow Point reservoirs provide additional places to boat or fish.
