Foot, bicycle and cross country ski trail. Motorized vehicles are prohibited. This trail parallels Hwy 67 and offers beautiful views of the Manitou Park area. It takes the average hiker about 1 hour to walk this paved trail. Bicyclists must yield to pedestrians.
The Manitou Park area was a summer hunting ground for the Ute Indians.

Basic Directions
From Colorado Springs, travel west on Hwy 24 to Woodland Park. Turn north on Hwy 67 and go 6 miles to South Meadows Campground. There is a paved parking lot just outside the campground entrance. Parking is also available at the other end of the trail at Manitou Lake Picnic Ground.
