Arkansas River
The Arkansas River runs through the mountains of central Colorado, and its deep canyons and spectacular scenery are home to thousands of trout.

Chalk Creek Pike & San Isabel National Forests Cimarron & Comanche National Grasslands

Elevenmile Canyon Reservoir Lake Size:  5.3 square miles   
One of Colorado's largest reservoirs, Elevenmile Canyon features nine campsites and plenty of boating and fishing opportunities.

O'Haver Lake Lake Size:  15 acres   
O'Haver Lake is a tiny body of water that offers excellent fishing, and hand-propelled boating.

Spinney Mountain Reservoir Lake Size:  4 square miles   
Spinney Mountain State Park is home to trophy-sized cutthroat trout, as well as rainbows, browns and northern pike, in the scenic shadow of the Collegiate Mountain Range.

Taylor Park Reservoir Lake Size:  3 square miles   
Taylor Park Reservoir offers fishing in the lake itself or in the myriad of nearby streams, with great views of the Sawatch Mountains.
