The town of Breckenridge, high in the Rockies west of Denver, is a historic mining town filled with Victorian architecture and packed with bars, restaurants, and lodges. During summer the town and mountain offer music festivals, mountain biking, and other fun activities. In winter months, skiiers flock to the town to take on the slopes at the Breckenridge Ski Resort, one of Colorado's most popular destinations. With 146 runs, more than half of them rated as difficult or above, the slopes of Breckenridge will provide days of challenges for experienced skiers.
