Argentine Pass Beginner
9 miles 1.5 hours
This is a relatively easy road that leads up to Argentine Pass, over 13,000 feet high and along the Continental Divide. During spring, the high alpine meadows are full of wildflowers, and the view from the top is most impressive.

Caribou Flats Intermediate
11 miles 1 to 2 hours
The Caribou Flats road climbs to a network of old mining roads on a lovely open plateau with fine views both up to the mountains and down over the plains.

Coney Creek Road Difficult

Coney Creek Road is a continuously rocky route which climbs over some short steep hills.

Medano Pass and Great Sand Dunes Trail Intermediate
20 miles 2 to 2.5 hours
A scenic route passing through a variety of terrain, this road offers great views of the San Luis Valley and the Great Sand Dunes. Stream crossings and patches of sand make this a challenging route for inexperienced drivers.

Moffat Road Beginner
26 miles 2 to 3 hours
Moffat Road is a rough 2WD road following an old railroad grade towards the Continental Divide and the collapsed Needles Eye Tunnel.

Switzerland Trail Beginner
14 miles 1 to 1.5 hours
The Switzerland Trail follows an old railroad bed with fine views to the east of the Front Range. The road is a great place to see aspen colors in the fall.
