This campground has 87 sites and is located in the south portion of the park. Areas without natural shade have shade shelters over picnic tables. Electrical hookups are available at all campsites with both standard RV and household type 20, 30, 50 amp service. Coin operated showers and laundry facility are located at the camper services building. All facilities are accessible to persons with disabilities. Wagon Wheel Campground costs, in addition to the parks pass, in Loop A & B (Sites 1-18) starting May through Labor Day is $18 a night and the rest of the Sites 19-87 are $16 a night.

Directions
From Denver: Take I-70 east to Burlington, then 23 miles north on U.S. 385. Turn east on County Road 2 (3 1\2 miles to entrance) or 3 (1 1\2 miles to entrance). OR Take I-70 east to Byers, then east on U.S. 36 (approximately 108 miles) to Idalia. Continue east two miles on U.S. 36, then turn south on U.S. 385 for 6 or 7 miles to County Road 2 or 3. The gate entrance on County Road 2 is 3 1\2 miles from highway and County Road 3 is 1 1\2 miles from highway.
