Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park Travel Information

Both the North Rim or South Rim drives are less than ten miles and stop at multiple viewpoints. Allow 2-3 hours to fully appreciate the canyon from either viewpoint.

West Elk Loop		205 miles	6 to 8 hours

	A beautiful day trip, the West Elk Loop makes a full circle around one of Colorado's mountain groups. Along the way, the route passes such beautiful spots as the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Blue Mesa, the picturesque mountain town of Crested Butte, and two state parks.
