Berthoud Pass

Offering a unique alternative to traditional skiing, Berthoud Pass closed the last of its lifts some years ago, but still offers great powder runs for those willing to ride snowcats or hike. One of the oldest ski areas in the state, Berthoud receives more snowfall than almost any other (over 400 inches annually). The slopes here on the Continental Divide are some of the best and least crowded in the area.

Berthoud Pass has no on-site services, but is near the Winter Park and Georgetown areas, both with lodging, dining, and entertainment options.
