Beaver Creek Reservoir

Beaver Creek Reservoir is a high mountain lake near several campgrounds, and can be fished for trout and kokanee salmon. Beaver Creek has been dammed to create a long, narrow reservoir surrounded by beautiful forested canyon walls. Ice fishing is popular here during the winter, and just a few miles north are some of Colorado's prestigious Gold Medal Waters in the Rio Grande headwaters.
