Bachelor Historic Loop

This scenic route traces the history of Creede's silver mining district through the rugged high mountains of the San Juans. Interpretive signs and a guidebook relate much of the history of these storied mountain canyons.

Head west from Creede along Bachelor Mountain Road to begin the loop. The loop returns to Creede at West Willow Creek Canyon Road, on which a four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended.
