|
Arapahoe Basin is a small ski area a few miles south of Loveland. With a summit over 13,000 feet above ski level, Arapahoe Basin has the highest skiable terrain in the country. Half of this skyscraping mountain is above timberline, with open runs and views unobstructed by trees. The high elevation also means that the mountain receives over 350 inches of snowfall a year, and its season is one of the longest in the state, often remaining open into July.
